Experience, opinion, and fact

• Personal experience describes what the author did, observed, or felt.
• Opinion is identified as a personal position, not a universal truth.
• Verifiable claims are supported, where needed, by identifiable sources.
• Approximations and memory limits are declared; missing figures are not invented.

Sources and verification

We prefer primary sources, public institutions, official documentation, and relevant research. A source is not included merely because it supports the author's conclusion, and a testimonial is not presented as a statistic.

For sensitive subjects, we explicitly separate personal experience from medical, legal, or financial information. If a claim cannot be verified, we frame it as memory, perception, or opinion—or remove it.

Artificial intelligence

UnderMirror uses AI tools to organise drafts, edit language, translate, run technical checks, and create some editorial images. Generated images are labelled on the page.

AI is not presented as a witness to the experiences and does not decide alone what gets published. Junior confirms personal facts and approves the final version.

Commercial interests

• In its current form, UnderMirror is a personal, non-commercial journal: it receives no income, sells nothing, and conducts no business activity.
• Sponsorships, gifted products, and affiliate links will be disclosed visibly.
• A commercial relationship does not guarantee a favourable conclusion.
• Without a commercial disclosure, the story is neither sponsored nor affiliated.
• We do not publish allegations about people or companies without sufficient documentation and, where necessary, a right of reply.
